This function block can be used to read a 4-byte transmission sent from a POWERLINK station to a drive within the network.

The function block's inputs must be provided with the node number of the transmitting POWERLINK station, the bit offset of the data being received in the telegram from the transmitter and the data type of the POWERLINK data. Specifying the receive channel on the drive is optional.

This makes it possible to read X20 and X67 data (digital inputs, encoder position) and make it available on the drive , for example.
