This function block cyclically reads the value of a transmit channel on the PLC. In addition to the axis sending the data (master axis), either the transmit channel or the ParID must be specified.

The "Mode" input is used to select whether the value read should be interpreted as a position and converted to PLCopen units. The "Valid" output indicates that initialization is completed and the value of the ParID or the high-resolution position is being read cyclically from the axis and output to the "CyclicValue" output. When the "Enable" input is reset, the value is no longer written to the output.

Transmit channels that are automatically initialized by coupling function blocks can also be received on the PLC with this function block.

If a transmit channel that has not yet been initialized is received, then "0" will be written to the "CyclicValue" output. An error message is not reported. As soon as the transmit channel has been initialized, the "CyclicValue" output jumps to the value read.
